I know some of you didn't watch Jericho in the fall because you thought it was going to be a gloomy and depressing post apocolyptic story. You have a second chance to find out how wrong that impression is...season one is being replayed from the premiere episode (on CBS) beginning this Friday.
What would you do if you saw a mushroom cloud in the distance? How would you find out what happened? What happens when the supply chain for goods and services is cut off? How do you know who your friends (neighboring communities) are? Can you trust your neighbors? Can you trust strangers who come to town? How do the dynamics of your community change? How would you feed yourself? Would any of your job skills be in demand or would you be useless?
This show gives me food for thought, and I miss the characters. As you know, I was one of the folks who made a stink when it was canceled so I'm thrilled to have it back and I encourage you to give it a second try this summer and see what you think!
