Oh boy...I just had to go and get another talking doll.  My youngster has had her eye on a doll called Amazing Amanda since right after Christmas but even clearance at $50 it was too rich for my blood.  Well, today we found one (and only one) marked down to $20 so I got it for her.  It is ever so annoying.  At least with the other doll you can shove a bottle in it's mouth and get some relief.  This one is just full of questions.  Sheesh.

Survivor Cook Islands recap

The first challenge isn't really a challenge but a tribal reshuffle.  Instead of having four tribes divided by ethnicity, we now have two tribes with an equal representation of ethnicity and gender.

The blonde girl is told about the events at tribal council where Billy claimed to have found true love (at first sight) with her at one of the challenges.  She is shocked, and justifiably horrified at the whole creepy stalker vibe. 

Yul tells his pal and alliance member Becky that while he was on exile island he found the immunity idol and that he is prepared to use it to save her if that becomes necessary.

Alternative girl Jessica is not all there.  Jonathan formed an alliance with her when the tribes were still divided by ethnicity but she is ready to bail on that.  He needs her back on the team in order to save Becky.  Yul talks with Cao Boi about strategy and tries to get him on board, along with Jessica. 

At tribal council Jeff Probst asks Jessica if the game is already more complicated than she anticipated, to which she replies (in a sing-song voice) "Um, I think that I'm just not used to the manipulation aspect of it, and just where people's intentions are gets really confusing to me, like are you really telling me because you're being nice or are you telling me 'cause you're like trying to get me on your side so you could like get me to vote somebody off who I like you know it's just weird."  She's so flipping dumb. 

In the end Cecelia is the one voted out.

Survivor Cook Islands recap

I'm puzzled.  Did the people on the Hispanic-American tribe not watch previous seasons of the game?  When they decided to throw a competition in order to oust one of the players who annoys them I predicted with 100% accuracy Jeff Probst's reaction.  Sure enough, he gave them the look that said you're all idiots.  Things got a little heated at tribal council, and then when I thought the whole thing was becoming tiresome, the would-be ejectee spouts off that he found love at first sight on the island.  Who did he fall in love with?  He claims some girl on another tribe and he are in love because they made eye contact.  Yeah...I saw that exchange, she doesn't love him.  He's delusional and lazy (seriously lazy, like all-the-way lazy, lazy to infinity).  No wonder they wanted him gone.
